The Pacific branch of the Intertropical Convergence Zone, interacting with a trough, a low-pressure system, moisture inflow from the southeast of the country, and local convective processes, is creating unstable conditions that will generate light to moderate rain and some thunderstorms in parts of the departments of Antioquia, Córdoba, the Coffee Region, Chocó, Valle del Cauca, Cauca, Nariño, Amazonas, Vaupés, Guainía, and Vichada. Occasional showers and lighter rain are expected in the departments of Arauca, Atlántico, Bolívar, Boyacá, Caquetá, Casanare, Cesar, Cundinamarca, Guaviare, Huila, La Guajira, Magdalena, Meta, Norte de Santander, Putumayo, Santander, Sucre, and Tolima.
In the San Andrés and Providencia archipelago, partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected, with occasional showers during the morning and afternoon and a high temperature near 26°C.
For the city of Bogotá and the surrounding savanna, partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected, with dry conditions, especially during the afternoon and evening, and a high of around 18°C.
